Often symptoms of anxiety disorder and a particular type of epilepsy and a condition called dissociation can overlap leading to confusion in diagnosis. At times they can coexist too. Hence, given the complexity of the issue and the nature of the problem, the person needs to be seen in person for a detailed evaluation, examination and to carry out some tests. These conditions are treatable and the key lies in arriving at the proper diagnosis. Regards
