Epilepsy medication review

2021-11-05 07:43:18
My niece, F 11 years of age has been on epilepsy medication for last 6 years. 4.5 years back doctors prescribed tegrital 200 mg twice daily and since then no epileptic seizure has occurred. Latest EEG still is interpreted by consulting pediatrician as no improvement and has referred a neurologist. Please advise what could be reason for no improvement in EEG considering there have been no seizure since almost 5 years now. Thanks in advance 🙏

1 MRI should be done and get done video EEG .. may be some semiology can be identified.. if video EEG and MRI both are insignificant than we can start tappering medications
