Epidermoid cyst with acute inflammation

My father is suffering from an hard inflammation on his left cheek so we got FNAC done on it. The result says that it was an epidermoid cyst with acute inflammation. He is in pain right now due to its swelling. Could you please let us know which doctor to approach. Is it a dermatologist or a surgeon. We would like to avoid a surgery if possible. Any information would be helpful. Thanks
