Both are diagnostic test done to find out the upper and the lower GI tract. In the upper GI tract , you have severe reflects disease which has to be treated initial with medications and in the lower GI tract you have  piles, which has to be further evaluated and it has to treated first with medication and further which depending on your response the treatment might vary. You have to meet a gastro specialist and proceed with the treatment.
