Endo thickness

What can be maximum endometrium thickness just prior to menses date? My last menses were on 10th June. On 28th june, I had USG done, which showed 11 mm endometrium thickness. And today that is 6th July, it's 28 mm. My gynaecologist said that it's premenstrual. But still I am worried. I would like a second opinion. I am 24years old and unmarried.

have you ever taken hormonal pills to postpone your periods or then to stop periods because so much of thickne4ss is expected with hormonal drugs. in a normal patient the thickness doesnt go above 12 mm. any ways dont do anything now. you would usually bleed more with that thickness. dont start any tablets as for now. let the body adjust itself

Normal endometrial thickness before periods is around 8 - 10 mm. 28 mm is too thick. Please get your urine pregnancy test done if sexually active. Consult a gynec after the periods to evaluate the endometrium. Dr Sachin Dalal Madhu Hospital Bhandup West Mumbai

Yes the thickness of endometrium is more at this period of time. What is your cycle duration, you should get a pregnancy test done. It could be early pregnancy.
