Hi I hope it was diagnosed by a gynaecologist . she is absolutely correct in prescribing you duphastone as it will help in regularising your periods ,because in pcos the main problem is abnormal menses.It is a synthetic progesterone quite similar to natural and very safe in pcos as it doesnt have ant testosterone like actions. Regarding gynaecologist you can ask your family physician.
