I had intercourse with my husband w/ condom but it broke and am concerned as it happened during my ovalution days.. Is EC pill available over the counter in Chennai. What are the effective tablets. What should I do as am till within 72hrs timeline.. Or should I wait till my period date..

Emergency contraceptive pills are available over the counter...the only thing being they have side effects like irregular cycles...chances of ectopic pregnancy... nausea...etc There are also other methods to avoid pregnancy at this stage which will also provide future contraception... connect with me online for further advice

I am sorry to say but as far as I know no emergency contraception pill is available in Chennai .. however there are other methods by which you can prevent pregnancy

EC pills according to me are not advisable,suggest you wait until.ur periods dates and confirm by doing a upt urine pregnancy test .,in any case these pills are not termination pills and Induce periods only if you are not pregnant.
