I wanted to know if an emergency pill could be had twice within the 72 hour period to ensure maximum efficiency.

Only once .. emergency pill is for emergency...it has heavy dose of hormones..which may affect your cycle Routine contraception like pills is advised.. looking to your age counseling on sexually transmitted diseases is important... consult your gynec asap
