Hello edd is expected date of delivery it gives us the approximate or on average date at which the baby is born.. On top of it plus or minus 7 days should be taken into consideration for delivery...it depends on various other factors if primi then delivery may be delayed or if multi means delivery may occur early!!in some it can be early or delayed its just rough date where the mother needs to he more cautious consult obg specialist for further evaluation and treatment.
