How soon can an ectopic pregnancy be detected? I had intercourse 2 weeks back & had an ipill but now I had bleeding for one day with severe pain in abdomen. Urine pregnancy test is negative.

Gestational sac is visible only when HCG is above the discriminatory level . For discriminatory level HCG that is more than 1600 IU the pregnancy test is usually positive Dear , for detect a ectopic pregnancy you need to do ultrasound pelvis done for uterus tubes and ovaries and gestational sac at about 5-6 weeks

Take Cyclopam three times a day for three days for pain relief dear
Health Tips
Drink plenty of water and fruits juice If no periods can do a repeat pregnancy test with morning sample fasting urine after 1 week again
