Ecogenic sludge or Bile Sand is a predisposition to formation of gall stones. If you have experienced pain in right upper abdomen below rib margins, then you might be having cholecystitis intermittently. Thick bile sediments of crystals ultimately may form stones. Keep a watch on successive ultrasound images and get advised by a qualified gastro enterologist surgeon.
