Eating eggs develops acne

2016-09-07 23:29:08
Iam 24 years old. I have been eating 2 eggs daily since a week for gaining weight. But somehow it developed acnes on my chest area and my back. What should i do? I started going to gym since yestrday. I know if i workout a bit , it allows my body to sweat and these acnes might just go off. Will eating eggs have a side effect on my body? Will it lead to some other diseases like ovarian cysts etc ? Should i stop?

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  Having oily foods are the main cause of acne and hormonal causes can also be there. I dont think eggs would have done this to you. Kindly get it checked out by a dermatologist in person for further evaluation and management.  Best regards . Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.

Hello there...I can understand your concern. Eating eggs won't increase your acne. Eating oily foods will increase acne. Working out leads to increase sweating, this can block the sebaceous glands and cause acne. So you need to clean properly after workout. Treatment of acne will depend on severity. So kindly consult a dermatologist for further evaluation.
