I underwent an ep termination last week. I had been given oral medicine and vaginal inserts after two days of oral medicine, post which I bled very heavily and passed big clots..now I have bare spot bleeding and no complications, but my usg report shows I have the sac and tissues present. do I still need to go for d and c, or wait till my next cycle?

It is better to go for DnC... waiting till next cycle can cause bleeding... infection and foul smelling discharge... usually if there are products left inside DnC is a sure shot method...take care

An option of repeating the vaginal tabs could be tried again , and if your scan doesn't confirm an empty uterine cavity , then you have to undergo surgical evacuation of the retained tissue . If you wait without intervention then you could have complications as sudden heavy bleeding / infection .
