My son has excessive ear wax. It's not painful. How should one get it cleaned? Never got it done before.

Usually ear wax(cerumen) does not need cleaning. It is auto- cleaned by a self-cleaning process. If this process is impaired, cerumen accumulates in the ear canal. Accumulated cerumen should always be treated by an ENT specialist.
