Good afternoon! Ear piercing many ENT surgeons do ! Yes avoid Gun shot piercing there are many cases reported with infection Visit nearby ENT surgeon for sterile piercing

Avoid gunshot ear piercing. Experienced ENT Surgeons will only use a widebore surgical needle(I use #15). It is relatively painless and gives a clean piercing. First purchase the gold or silver earrings/studs. Avoid the thin, wiry ones. Do not buy the fake gold studs- those metals can react with baby's delicate skin. If using ear stud, make sure both ends do not have any sharp edges.
