Suddenly midnight ear started paining continoulsy crying 3-4hrs then given her Ibusgesic plus syrup 5ml after that she got relief. 1. she is having cold and cough for 15 days now. is the reason her ear was paining..? 2.pls suggest ear drop for pain 3.also for cold and cough medicine should take Thanks and Regards

During upper respiratory infection, ear pain could be due to ear infection. In that case, pain is usually more at night and early morning hours. Ear drops wouldn’t give pain relief, she needs to get her ears examined and started on oral antibiotic syrup if there is infection. Can continue ibugesic syrup two times a day until then.
