Ear blockage and unable to hear properly

My right ear was blocked suddenly last week and i am unable to hear properly from that ear. I am not swimming or anything that can cause ear blockage. I have used soliwax ear drops suggested by columbia aisa doctors but it didn't helped. I am being very irritated to to not listening properly. Pls help
