बच्चे को बार-बार उल्टी होना syrup या antibiotic intolerance हो सकता है। लेकिन antibiotic केवल तभी दिया जाता है जब बच्चे को bacterial infection confirm हो। Viral fever में antibiotics की ज़रूरत नहीं होती।
मेरी सलाह है कि
• Antibiotic अपने आप शुरू न करें।
• बच्चे को अगर oral syrup tolerate नहीं हो रहा है तो pediatrician से consult करके alternative formulation (dispersible tablet, injection या अन्य) decide करना ज़रूरी है।
• साथ में बच्चे की उम्र, वज़न और clinical condition के आधार पर सही dose व timing तय होगी।
