I guess I have ADHD and OCD both. I distract easily and I enjoy different things at different times, sometimes I like to draw, sometimes I love gardening, sometimes, I like to buy books , sometimes I like to do some random electric work and these things are so random. And I also like organised things like i don't like to sit on my study table unless it is well organised, sometimes i have random thoughts like i forget to switch off the bulb ,gas etc Please help me.

Symptoms suggest possible ADHD. OCD cannot be confirmed from this history. Liking things to be organized alone is not OCD. A detailed psychiatric assessment is needed before making a diagnosis.

Having changing interests and liking things organized does not necessarily mean you have ADHD or OCD. ADHD involves persistent problems with attention and impulsivity, while OCD involves unwanted intrusive thoughts and repetitive behaviors that cause significant distress. A proper psychological assessment can help clarify what’s happening. Until then, try maintaining a daily routine, using reminders for important tasks, and avoid self-diagnosing based on online information. ADHD and OCD can co-exist, but these symptoms alone don’t confirm either diagnosis. Proper history is needed—especially childhood-onset ADHD symptoms, functional impairment, and whether the thoughts are intrusive/ego-dystonic with compulsions. A psychiatric evaluation would be appropriate.
