Dryness on upper lips (nose end to lips)

Recently I have observed dryness on upper lip portion that portion from nose end to lip border. Similarly observed below the lower lip i.e. lower lip border towards skin To be precise lips are not dry but the skin above and below it. No history for such dryness First occurrence No itching No peeling I wash my face 2-3 times a day What would be the cause? How this can be cured? What all the preventing measure??
