I had TB In 2017 and completed ATB 9 months course successfully. After that sometimes when I get cold (infection) blood cough come which is due to scar as I am told. Treated with antibiotics and was fine. I got dry cough & heavy chest at night for last 7 days. Was taking Bro Zedex syrup. Should I take Zanocin 200 twice for 5 days or anything else? No hemoptysis occurred this time. Thanks

Hi. I understand your concern s. Do not self medicate yourself as TB can relapse as well so it is better to get a detailed examination and investigation done. Consult a pulmonologist for the same at the earliest

Please visit a pulmonologist. Antibiotics can not be given based on online consultations. Talk to your pulmonologist about the condition as well as vaccinations to prevent the frequent infections.
