I was having acne over my face and even some on my back.my doctor gave me Doxycycline100mg for 20 days and benzer5 amd clear gel. Doxycycline works as miracle for me but after some months especially in summers i have acne again. So i want to ask can i take Doxycycline by myself again.is it safe if i take it twice a year for 20 days.??? Thanx in advance

Doxycycline for acne is to be taken only under supervision of a dermatologist only. It has to be taken as a course for a few weeks to months in combination with topical medications. Please consult a nearby dermatologist. Regards,
