Doubts on intaking duoluton l Pills

Hi Doctor, My Periods after D&C has been abnormal and i was bleeding for almost Feb 5th -Feb 15th followed there is a slight spotting happening even now. Doctor suggested to take me duoluton l Pills for 21 days but i'm confused whether i need to take after my Spotting is stopped ?
