Hi my baby is 4 months old and she is passing stool in green colour..what is the reason for passing the stool in that colour.. could you please suggest me what I want to do...

the green colour that many times is present in the stool is due to the digestive enzymes (bile )present in the stomach and when the food reacts with the digestive enzymes this can give green colour to the stool. the importance is of consistency of the stool so if the consistency is watery and green then only you need to meet the doctor but if it is semi solid to solid green stool then no need to meet the doctor.
