Doubt of vitamin D deficiency

I had vitamin D deficiency before for which I took vitamin D therapy 3 months. Recently I was having same symptom again so I started taking vitamin D again.. The next day of taking 2nd dose of vitamin D of 60000 iu.. I got it checked and it was 40ng.. I have doubt whether this raised value is because I took vitamin D one day before only or it is ok

Time if dosing doesnt affect levels so soon. Vit D deficiency is a very common problem in India. One should take Vit D 60000 every week for 3 months and then take it monthly.
