Dog bite on leg, injection required? Is Hydrophobinum  substitute of inhection? Can Injection start after 10 days?

If you have not previously been vaccinated or if your existing vaccination out of date, then you should make sure you should see a Doctor and receive a TT within 24 hrs of dog bite incident. This ensures that symptoms of tetanus with out have a chance to develop. Dog bite could lead to local wound infection, tetanus or rabies that could come from either the saliva of the bites skin flora of victim.

Injection can start after 10 days only if you can watch the dog for 10 days. If you cannot then injection to be take. Right now clean the area and take TT injection and watch the dog for any change in behaviour
