Does Zirconia crown harm dentin or tooth
I heard that zirconia crown are now best asthetic crown to have. I wanted to have on my front 6 teeth. Wanted to know whether it will cause harm to existing teeth or dentin. Can I replace it after 10 years.My age is 27 now. Do my teeth will be in condition to have new crown after 10 year?how many times I can replace it. Please share your views

Hi, I will try my best to help you. As you said Zirconium crowns are the best crowns available now. It will not harm to existing dentin. Generally replacement will not be required if they're not creating any trouble in future. However replacement involves risky procedure. I advise you to go for branded zirconium crowns which will lost longer time.
