Radiation exposure – because I already get HRCTs regularly for my lung condition 2. Iodine contrast – I’ve read it may affect kidney function, especially if there’s already an issue I asked about switching to an MRI, but the doctor said no. So I’m planning to ask whether we can do both of these instead: 1. A low-dose, non-contrast CT scan to reduce radiation and avoid iodine 2.
