Does Cytotec require a cervical exam
Can Cytotec be taken orally for labor induction WITHOUT a cervical exam? I'm a few days short of 42 weeks pregnant. I can't find a reason to why I HAVE to have a cervical exam to take it unless labor doesn't occur. I understand oxytocin should only be done if your cervix is ripe.
If I am correct that it is not necessary, then what should I tell the doctor?
