Does baby gets fever while teething

My 6-months old son started teething almost a week ago. However, since then he has developed a slight fever. Now he’s also refusing to eat. I am confused whether this occurs due to teething or not. Is baby teething fever normal? Or is his fever due to some infection? Your help would be really appreciated!

Teething causes mild inflammation of gums. But fever usually due to infection because child puts things out fingers in mouth which causes mild viral infection. If fever is mild just give paracetamol.. if any other problematic symptoms seek medical attention.
