Don't just have faith over ur Psychiatrist . If Problems of withdrawal symptoms is present better to tapper more slowly ,take more time to taper.

Severity of withdrawal symptoms depends on the medicine and it's dose you are using. If the medicine is short acting like venlafaxine, sertaline and paroxtine chances of withdrawal symptoms are more. You need to discontinue such medicine's very slowly and even if you develop withdrawal symptoms you can take a table of fluoxetine 20 mg to cut short withdrawals.
