My L2 vertebra is deformed. I had a hairy mole/birthmark removed 30 years ago directly over my L2. I have suffered with Chronic back pain most of my life. Do I have Spina Bifida Occulta

U ll have to get an x ray spine for the diagnosis.. Anyways spina bifida occulta is just an incidental finding unless there is a family history and u screen at birth..Again, Spina bifida will not cause backache.. U ll have to get clinically examined by an orthopaedician along with xrays +/-MRI  to make a diagnosis and then institute treatment
