Normal Dj stent must be removed with in 3 months..If it stays for longer duration.. It has lot of side effects.... May require difficult / big surgery for its removal or even kidney failure... or at times even after 3 months may be removed without difficulty... No need to take chance.. Get it removed / exchanged
