Full term female baby age of 1 day has discharge in right eye and cannot open while left eye she is opening half and good. What is the remedy?

Also remove baby nails if present.bcz babies often rub their hands against eyes.nail may also cause slight abrasion watering and stickiness

Its normal at this age Clean both eyes with wet cotton every  6 hrly Do nasolacrimal duct massage ie From inner cantus to tip of nose on both sides 5 -6 times a day It will help Ask ur pediatrician for demo he will help u

Wipe both eyes frequently with clean wet cloth daily... massage the duct clock and anticlockwise once or twice a day...it will be relieved on its own as age progress....
