Disc dessication at L4-L5

My MRI report shows that the one of the lower discs of my spinal cord has moved a bit and is ramming against my spinal nerves. My local doctor has advised me some exercise and medicine but believes a surgery is on the cards. I would like to have a second opinion. Thank You.
