I have been facing digestive issues(chronic type 6 stool as per Bristol scale) for years. I have recently(a month or so ago) noticed that when I consume gram flour or kidney beans or chickpea or pulses(like moong dal) or garbanzo beans(kabulichana), I develop constipation and have incomplete evacuation. And I have also noticed that in my case consuming pumpkin seeds(just 1tbsp) causes constipation and incomplete evacuation too. And when I avoid aforementioned foods, I have type 6 stool as per Bristol scale and don't have feeling of incomplete evacuation. I have bowel movements daily I don't have abdominal pain, cramps or vomiting. I had iron deficiency anemia in reports of a blood test taken in feb 2020. I have read consuming too much fiber can cause constipation but I don't think that I by any means consume too much fiber. What could these signs mean? Can something cause soluble fiber sensitivity or intolerance to develop? I don't have any underlying medical condition.
Persistent mild diarrhoea can be due to inflammatory bowel disease or rare absorption disorder.
You need proper assessment and some important tests like stool test for occult blood and stool test to asses malabsorption syndromes.
Also you might require a colonoscopy depending upon consultation with a gastroenterologist.
About your second part of question regarding fiber intake please share your diet intake chart for 1 week.
Also share your iron profile report.
Next Steps
try to get a clinical consultation by a gastroenterologist.
