Difficulty in swallowing

My father is unable to swallow anything, even difficulty in drinking water. He feels something is stuck in his throat and is in pain. He is currently also under Typhoid treatment and was diagnosed with Liver Cirrhosis in June 2019. Please suggest what to do.
