Is there any difference between Bupron XL 150 and bupron SR 150 ?? i am asking because doctor prescribed me bupron sr 150 and i am taking XL as provided by medical shop... and anxiety has increased at evening time thats why i am asking

Hi both have the same chemical ingredient called bupropion. Bupron SR is slow release whereas bupron XL is extended release. Usually XL preparations give less side effects than SR preparation. Continue treatment and contact your Psychiatrist. Antidepressants can temporarily increase anxiety. In two weeks or so this will subside.
