My daughter has been suffering from loose motion for the last month it seems like she is having a giardia infection.. How many doses of Albendazole  is required for its treatment.

Firstly you have to do a stool test to confirm the type of infection- simply dining stool RE & ME you can find ova - but it may be a case of amibiosis. Finally if Giardia infection occurs most useful drug is metronidazole- please consult a paediatrician
