Hi, If husband is diabetic, and wife is conceived, diabetic sperm can cause any birth defects in baby? Or any chance baby will get type1 diabetes? Thanks.

Diabetes may cause genetic modification during sperm production and these genes may be altered and can pass to next generation which may increase the risk of diabetes in the child.
