Diabetic foot ulcer
My father had a diabetic foot ulcer surgery.. it has already been three months but the wound is not healing.. can you please prescribe any actions that we can take to speeden up the process.. we have been doing the dressings with betadine and collagen powder with mupiciron.. the doctor has now suggested megaheal.. his sugar levels are largely in control. However no significant improvement can be noticed.
Consult a podiatrist as well as gen surgeon again and take a second opinion of what’s happening. A re assessment of the wound will be necessary along with latest FBS PPBS and Hba1C

Make sure a well designed Diabetic diet is being followed with good sugar control and dressings to be done in sterile conditions. Better to get dressings by a nurse at hospital instead of home.
