I have type 1 diabetes,  using insulin Injections as morning 35units, evening 30units, I don't take sweet items. I am doing exercise regularly. But my glucose levels are should be high. Fbs: 245 Ppbs: 357 What can I do Can I use any anti diabetic tab like metformin/glimipride/pioglitazone.

oral hypoglycaemic drugs hardly will affect as the mechanism of their working is different...they will increase the action of insulin and not insulin production..where as for you..as you are type 1 you need insulin...kindly follow up with your doctor as we need to alter your dosage
