Hello doctor, My mother is having a doubt that she might have diabetes as she is feeling few symptoms. Due to covid conditions,we are not in a position to visit a lab to get the test. Can you please advice if glucometer testing machine available online can be used to test diabetes? Will it give accurate results? Please help

Glucometer readings can be used to monitor sugars who has been diagnosed as diabetes on treatment. For confirmation of diabetes need venous fasting sugar sample and HbA1C. Glucometer sugar readings indicate interstitial glucose levels which have 10-15% variation from plasma glucose
