Hello sir Applied dettol with cotton on face for 5 min around 12 noon today. It caused burning sensation which turned black and later red . Applied cold water and ice for sometime thereafter applied lacto calamine lotion at 3pm .. There is blackish mark please suggest medication . Thanks

This is irritant contact dermatitis to dettol.do not use harsh soaps on the face fir a while.for further treatment kindky consult online

Hello, You seem to have reacted to dettol. Do not reapply. Use a mild soap for cleaning face daily followed by only moisturiser cream application 2-3 times a day. Avoid direct sun exposure. Revert back if there are more concerns.
