If all the SSRIs have same function and effect then why do psychiatrists keep on giving new SSRI when the earlier doesn't work? Is it possible that a certain SSRI will work for someone and other doesn't at all?? I'm suffering because I used to take escitalopram earlier which had no side effects and then I took fluoxetine with amisulpride and methmild but fluoxetine had side effects so I stopped it and my condtion become worse. I don't know which one helped me but since then I'm taking escitalopram but I'm not getting better. Should I try fluoxetine or other SSRI again. Psychiatrists please help me in detail
