I've been diagnosed with moderate to severe depression a week ago and prescribed Daxid 50mg. I met an ayurvedic doctor for ear pain (only available doctor in my campus at that time) and she gave some medication for which I asked whether these can be taken along with anti-depressants. She said yes, and also suggested to use ashwagandha for depression along with anti-depressants if needed. Can I use both together?

Actually, nobody can authoratively answer this question. But from my experience there should not be any problem But if you have any unusual symptoms, consult the allopathy doctor you are consulting.More over depression treatment is for 6-8 months only.
