Loss of interest, decreased concentration and attention, feeling low and disturbed sleep or appetite are some of the signs of depression. Consult a psychiatrist who will assess you in detail. If you are feeling suicidal or hopeless, seek professional help immediately.

Hello dear doctor, I can somewhat understand the distress that you are going through. However please do recognise that a part of problem or your outlook towards the problem may be related to your ongoing mood state of depression. Hence please seek a consultation with a psychiatrist near you for comprehensive assessment and treatment. Antidepressants and anti-anxiety medication can be highly effective in treating such conditions. Do not lose hope and focus on treatment. Like any other medical disorder, mental health disorders are also treatable and a correct approach should be able to help you. A combination of mediation and psychotherapy is likely to be required in such conditions. Hope this helps you. Best wishes for your health and future.
