Is there any type of blood test/ any other test, which can detect depression? Psychologist can detect, I know- im just asking for tests, if any.

Dear sir there is no blood test to confirm or quantity the diagnosis depression.The best way is to take up a appointment with a mental health professional, a got case history few psychological test can help. But still your doctor may give you some priliminary blood test to confirm that other physiological conditions are not contributing to your current      condition
