hello, normally the pain should go once the rct is done. if the pain still persists my advise will be wait and watch until the tooth becomes asymptomatic before you go for crown. if the pain is present even after a month or so get the tooth rechecked

Have faith on your doctor ... treatment he is giving u must be wat you need ... nd capping should be done after root canal treatment to protect the tooth from getting fractured or reinfection...
