How many implants are required for a molar tooth which has a gap of 11 mm. Can one implant be sufficient or do we need 2 implants?

Depending on the bone dimensions and occlusion the implantologist can decide to place one very thick implant or two average diameter implants.

It's the quality of bone not the quantity..... please take a CBCT along and ask your doctor to decide. One implant is used.

hi, one implant is more than enough for a 11 mm space at a molar region. what's important is the height and width of the available bone
